  3. I think I'm one of the very few who prefers the 2018 remake. I know, that sounds sick, but I make no apologies for my mental shortcomings (as myriad as they are). ;)

  4. Yes, this one is really good. Though I never trust anybody who goes by all 3 of their names: first, middle and last. This show, all 3 kids go by all 3 names.

    Thats kind of demonic.

As a MAD fan boy, I cannot explain how this zeitgeist-rich nugget evaded me .. Harvey Kurtzman!?!

    Thanks!

No visuals as they changed every week. Every version of the Blue Peter theme tune 1958 to 2021.

    (Mike Oldfield's 1979-89 arrangement is at 0:55)

And if 30" of Oldfield isn't enough, here's the 9 minute Blue Peter film about recording the theme. One of the highlights of the 60+ years of the show.

Indeed. Mort Drucker (RIP) is my ATF caricaturist, but the entire usual gang of idiots is unsurpassed, IMO, in their writing/visual satirical skills.
The effect that magazine - especially the artwork and irreverence - had on my young, developing brain is difficult to overstate.

Around the 00:30 mark the typography and graphic design become very interesting. Wish I could slow it down. And it is most impactful on the big screen.

Really excellent. Although seeing it in the theater seems preferable to me. Would definitely like to see it again, even at home.
