Was there ever a show that screamed: "Adventure!" to a young boy back in 1964? Hoyt Curtin pulled out all the stops for this one.
Patrick Williams, and the theme that shows, journalism is for the birds. I chose a first-season version, because it kept the opening sequence, a little more momentum, and a shot of new series arrival, Linda Kelsey. You don't have to watch the episode, but it was Tinker TV at its' best. Mar' would be pleased to know...Lou had a little spunk in him, after all.
Lalo. In 3, instead of 5...but still, such momentum, such character! No burning fuse, but still a lotta balls!
Well, it ain't what it used to be. Just going through my piles of saved NYTimes Book Reviews, which are little more than extended ads (Harold Bloom was right on that score). Never watched Lou Grant. Thanks for the mention. Great intro.
