Now, it's pretty cool to rewatch BB knowing that you can follow it up with El Camino. Heck, on my next rewatch, I might save the B&W "Gene" sequences from BCS to watch after BB!

I'm binging the series for a second time now, and it just dawned on me that there is a Flintstones influence here, but with an interesting twist.

    Hank is Fred
    Skyler is Wilma
    Marie is Betty
    Walt is Barney

    Gus is Mr. Slate
    Saul is The Great Gazoo

Been years since I watched BB but from what I recall I will say S4 was the peak for me.

Then that also means that BB is The Honeymooners and Hank is Ralph, Skyler is Alice, Marie is Trixie, and Walt is Ed.

Do believe Pinkman deserves his own BB offshoot series.

I would love to see a third series after Better Call Saul to tie the whole story up.

For the longest time I was under the expectation that Pinkman and Skyler would eventually develop an affair because he liked milfs, even though he wasn't her type exactly.

This is a pretty good song by the way, as are "A Horse With No Name" and "Baby Blue".

Yeah that was an amusing scene. Skyler trying to comprehend what MILF was... lol.

I liked that it was a relatively simple scene between him and Jesse, from early on in their dealings (branches around Season 2 when they get the camper). Walt is almost wistful as he waxes about the "great things" Jesse is going to do. Grimly ironic.

“Skyler you’ve been laundering this money for years, decades “

Final season / remember my name.

    First episode.

    Car wash scene.

What did WW mean by decades ?

I thought the real time span was a few years.

  20. Has anybody seen the commercial Aaron Paul did for some sports betting site? It's kind of pathetic. 42 year-old Paul, still dressed and acting like Jesse Pinkman, pimping some gambling outfit. Is that the best gig he can get?

So if somebody offered you millions to reprise a role you did for about a day or two worth of work, you wouldn't do it?

Cranston himself did some super bowl ad a few years ago in Heisenberg drag. Even he's not above it.

  22. Of course I would! Although I don't know that he was offered millions. I'm just commenting on his career in the eight years since Breaking Bad ended. First he did "El Camino", and now this. He really hasn't moved on, has he?

He put in a decent performance in season 3 of Westworld. It was the weakest season of the show, but that wasn't his fault. Certainly more of a nuanced performance than his Jesse Pinkman stint, which one could describe as William Shatner plays Jeff Spicoli.

still waiting for a show as gripping/entertaining as BB

seen some very good ones (succession , halt and catch fire , dark) but nothing to touch the BB perfection.
