There is also a B77 featured in the film.
Just did a search. Revox + Nagra.
    Diva, Oui? :D

OK, a Revox does appear momentarily, for a few seconds in a side shot in Jules’ apartments. So technically you are correct. But the Nagra is the featured tape deck that appears in multiple scenes and is even named and discussed by the characters. Nagra= co-star. Revox=uncredited extra.

I enjoyed The Happiest Day in the Life of Olli Mäki (2016). It's a boxing-themed film based on a real-life story, shot in black and white... so, maybe not unique in that sense, but it has just the right amount of sweat and sweetness.

‘Amelie’ is a totally awesome film. I’m going to start watching more French movies with subtitles, because ‘Amelie’ was such a pleasant surprise. This movie was released in 2001. Well, I had missed it up until now. What a great movie about nice people.

It was the gentleness of the characters that came through for me, and that’s what really made for a pleasant overall movie-experience. I like these people. There are no manipulate characters with agendas in this movie. It’s just a nice romantic comedy set in France. And I felt like I really knew them, even though I don’t speak their language.

My two favorite films of all time, Playtime and The Saragossa Manuscript are European. I’d say at least 1/3 of my favorites are European, and there would be a lot of films from Japan that would be considered favorites as well.

Apparently the cafe scene the surrounding area had to be cleaned of all graffiti to enhance the storyline romance.

Elio Petri’s Investigation Of A Citizen Above suspicion. A brilliant performance from Gian Maria Volonte. He’s unrecognizable from Leone’s films, which is but one indication of his prowess as an actor. Plus there’s Florinda Bolkan.

No recognizable stars that I recall. The father of the gypsies brings his new wife into his shack/ family shared abode.

In France Jacques Audiard makes terrific movies, like Un Prophète, De Battre Mon Coeur s'est Arrêté, Dheepan, Les Frères Sisters (J. Phoenix, Reilly, Gyllenhall).

I taped it off the TV in the late 80s - that version used "The Murder Of Love" by Propaganda for this scene
