Lots of good threads on the forum lately about fave flicks over the various decades . While reading the lists and comments I couldn' t help but see in my mind' s eye all sorts of different scenes from many of the movies mentioned. So many good ones and many good scenes make a movie particularly enjoyable. I mentioned this scene from ' Quest For Fire ' on a recent thread but I don' t mind repeating myself: The main 'caveman' is captive at another tribe's camp and is sitting there when one of the tribe comes in and proceeds to make fire. He is so astonished by this he weeps. Your favourite scene (s)?
In Robocop the large robot trying to come down the stairs at the Police station and tumbling down...freaky!
A close tie between: 1.) the scene in "Office Space" where the three protagonists destroy one of the crappy printers from the office on an open field, complete with a baseball bat and the fitting rap soundtrack: 2.) Clint Eastwood reaching a desolate confederate fort in "The Good, The Bad & The Ugly" with the extremely moving soundtrack by Ennio Morricone - I think it's the only scene in the film where Eastwood's character shows some kind of genuine emotion about the brutality of the war. 3.) The garbage truck in "Once Upon A Time In America". Those who've seen it will remember. Edit: extend it to "the ending of Once Upon A Time In America". It's the entire finale that makes the genius of it all.
