    Lots of candidates but I'm going through a bit of a Fairport phase so I'm going to pick:

    Angel Delight

    One of their very best. Whisper it, but I prefer it to Liege & Lief.

    Rod Stewart / EPTAS....IMO this record is not only Rod The Mod crown jewel but it was also the 1970's greatest musical achievement & that decades most satisfying record
