I could not afford the Beatles Mono vinyl box when it first came out, so I went the individual copies purchase route.
I got half way there and then find that the remaining albums were not available any more. I have a history of incomplete collections.
I sprung for the big Mono vinyl set this week, because I can finally afford to. Will sell off the individual copies.

I just filled the remaining gaps in my mono Beatles collection today on acousticsounds.com, looked like they still had all of the albums in stock in mono.

Yesterday I went to Urban Outfitters to pick up their exclusive version of Halsey’s Hopeless Fountain Kingdom with the unique cover art. While I was there I also grabbed the recent reissue of Soundgarden’s Superunknown and The Best of Sade.

Its an amazing set. You will not be disappointed. Dead quiet on my system, not a pop anywhere. I can hear subtle nuances I've never heard before in any format. The included book is quite good as well.

I had some Albinoni years ago but garage sale'd it and then regretted it. It's time for some more.

This picture can represent vols. 1 and 2, both ordered this week. I purchased vols. 3 - 8 back in the 80s when I was studying these works in grad school. Now I will finally have the whole set.

Just bought the vinyl of an old (relatively speaking, in this case 2004) favorite, Moonbabies The Orange Billboard. Fun album, and will be fun to finally have on vinyl too, this one the original (and only) press on the German Strange Fruit label, and purchased from a German store on discogs, never seen one around here. Shipping costs more than the $5 mint vinyl, a lot of my favorites aren't in very high demand :)
