I have some basic sound editing programs I want to use to fix some Rhino jazz CDs starting with My Favorite Things. An old thread said they have too much EQ and the old Atlantic CDs needed some. It's a little tough because I can only hear the music through my computer speakers but I'm slowly getting the hang of it.

After playing with the treble I was thinking of removing 4 db of 16k and 2 db at 8k. Is this too much :goodie: , not enough :shake: , or just right  ?
