I am currently in the market to buy a new pair of speakers I have a budget of about 1500 to spend and I would like to get a pair of floor-standing speakers or tower speakers. I don't want too much brightness or treble. I would like a sound profile that is non fatiguing and a little on the warmer end.
You can get a pair of Q Acoustics Concept 40s within your budget and these might fit your requirements. They have a lovely musical sound with a really nice detailed mid-range, and they're great with vocals. They also know how to rock and roll. I'm currently borrowing a pair just for fun and they're really good.
Polk Audio Reserve R700. They are on sale right now. I think you'll find these get rave reviews in many of the on-line forums and YouTube videos. But, audition any speakers before buying if you can.
Besides the equipment you would be driving them with, what ? is the room like that you would be setting them up in
I think I saw a promotion going on with the PSB Imagine 2xt. I owned them and had a great experience with them. Good luck.
Does it have to be new? (do you have tube amps? solid state?) For "non-fatiguing" I've always had a love for Thiel's. Since their bankruptcy a few years ago when Jim Thiel died, you might find a great deal on gently used pairs. (always thought they were beautiful, too)
Try to audition Paradigm and Dali. I had various tower speakers of these brands and they seem to fit your demands.
If your amp has the current, you may be able to squeeze Magnepan .7 in the budget. (fits the bill for warmer, non-fatiguing, without too much brightness or treble) If you need deep, boomy bass down to 20 Hz...these won't work, though.
Paradigm Premier 700F. Shouldn’t be difficult to get a pair discounted to $1500 from a smaller dealer. Very balanced with detailed yet non-fatiguing treble. Great imaging. They also measure well if that matters to you. One of the best tweeters I’ve heard among speakers below $3K/pair.
Try the Totem Arro... really non-fatiguing and almost full range from a small floorstander. Magic stuff
Are those the 2. something series in the pic? I've heard Thiels for many years. Two friends with 3.6. I found them to be very revealing rather than forgiving. And they could sound bright. Tremendous speakers though. Wimpy amplifiers need not apply.
Not sure what model is in the pic, (I just grabbed one to show OP what they look like) Totally agree with your "revealing" assessment. Not sure I would call them "bright", though. I've heard them powered by both Levinson SS amps, and Carey tubes...(granted, that's some high $$ equipment) I really think if the OP hasn't auditioned Magnepan's, it seems to fit all his criteria. (I'm very partial to Maggies) The .7, or LRS+ with a fast sub would be hard to beat in this price range...if he's got an amp with enough current. ("Wimpy amplifiers need not apply" on these as well)

Yes agree on all. My one friend had the Levinson stereo amp. Forget the model. My other friend still uses his 3.6's. Combination of stereo and home theater. He likes to really crank them up. He is an Emotiva fanboy. Has most of their big amps and processors. He has also blown the tweeters on the Thiels on several occasions. He was thinking about the big Tektons recently.
Not entirely sure what they cost in the US but when it comes to non-fatigueing speakers I can wholeheartedly recommend the Wharfedale Linton Heritage.
A friend of mine is having a pair delivered Wednesday. They look beautiful and they sure get rave reviews.
