Robot or human?
What about this one?
It's a link to a Hudson cleaner at Wal Mart website fyi
Lots of great reviews with pics on the Hudson unit. For 35 bucks delivered I had to order it.
The flux device works really well. Here is my Nagaoka JT322 before and after several minutes on the flux device.
The moongel was difficult to get of. alcohol and brush didn't work.
Thanks for the high-res pic!
What do you use in between?
Several minutes?!? Flux recommends you clean the stylus for 15 seconds. Did you actually do a continuous cleaning session a minute or two?
After I use mine, I find it very dirty the next day. I only use one drop of liquid and run it for 15 seconds.
So I'm assuming no more liquid?
I bought the knockoff Flux from Vinylnerds.de and use it dry. Though I may now burn in hell for that.
I use it dry for about 10 seconds
I received the following reply from Flux-hifi about how to clean the brush of the device:
The best way to clean the brush pad of our FLUX-Sonic is to scrape off the debris of the dry brush pad with a metal or plastic spatula.
You can also use a screwdriver or simply use your fingernail to remove the dry encrusted vinyl abrasion.
Have fun with our vinyl products.

Ordered Tuesday, here today per Fed Ex tracking. Will report back on how it works.
I have been using mine for 4 months now and I have yet to see signs of any residue on the brush pad of my Flux. I
asked my cleaning the pad question of Flux to be proactive, for when I did see a buildup on the brush. I was wondering what explains your results and I was going to ask you what your record cleaning methods are? As for me, I use an Audiodesk UCM to clean my records before playing for the first time. On the turntable I use a AQ carbon fiber brush, if needed, and a TruSweep record brush sweeps the record while playing. TIA.
How do you guys go about cleaning it, as in do you use the Flux with the solution after every record, after every side etc?
My cart came with a carbon fiber stylus brush, which I use after every side. I only use the flux, always with solution, after I had some gunk build up on the stylus, otherwise I use it maybe after about 10 records.
Do you think it would be possible to use it after every record without the cleaning fluid? I don't have a brush atm you see, thinking of buying one.
I've been using and Onzow like thing for the past while but have now heard apparently they leave residue behind on the stylus tip when using.
I am not sure to be honest. It is designed to be used with fluid, but it is not ultrasonic, which relies on cavitation in fluids. But no fluid could lead to less effective cleaning and excessive vibrations as the dampening effect of the fluid is absent. I would not use without fluid.
BTW, Flux Hifi recommends to clean after every 5 records.
I have a Flux and really like it. I also think the article about the Onzow could be flawed and I think it has been walked back some. I still use my DS Audio gel between Flux cleanings.
It was a VinylAttack video I had seen regarding the residue being left using the Onzow. He showed a microscopic pic of residue build up on the stylus, but again I'm not sure if that's his own personal photo or one he's referencing.
Personally l FLUX and it's solution once a week , but brush stylus before every record.
I use the Flux with the supplied fluid every 20 records. In between I use the Magic Erasure.
who sells the FLUx in the USA?
I bought mine at Music Direct.
doesn't look like anyone has it in US anymore...
