When I'm 90 years old and people ask me if I would go back and do anything differently, I will respond ""Yes. I wish I could buy every Y Kan Tori Read CD I could find when it was still in print."

Well, it's selling for a cut-out price plus the fact they're using the stickers that cover the UPC?

    Doesn't matter though... :)

    Whow momma!

I'm all for hard-to-find CDs, but I don't ever remember something like this.

Go get 'em Dean! More power to ya. So are we getting close to the reserve?

    Yep, Getting close.

You Guys aren't going to believe this, but I had this very same item bid up to $5700(!) 3 years ago on Ebay but after much jerking around the winner couldn't come up with the $. By that time the second place bidder lost intrest.........

Geeze Scott! You had me scared! I went back and checked and "felt" near the UPC sticker and it does not have any drill holes or cuts under it. It was in the bargain bin but I guess it was probably sitting in a box at some one-stop's warehouse and it probably was kept past the return window for the vendor. It was then marked down and put out for sale to get "rid" of it.

    My theory, anyway.

How much do you think Tori would pay just to rid the market of these CDs? I've never heard this particular one, but haven't heard much good about it...

This is officially the most expensive single CD at this point in time. Not any other CD has gone for that much.

The signs look optimistic IMO as one of feedbacks for the buyer relate to an $1100 purchase of a Tori Amos poster

    Nice one Dean :)

All the best - Andrew

    Well,

I was Paypaled this morning. It's going out to the UK Monday.

I was going to use USPS express international mail. Any suggestions on any carrier I might use instead?

$6200+?! Doesn't leave much room for growth, at least not in the short term.

Dean, congrats. on your windfall, but I really can't believe it went for so much.
