Price is right but $14.22 for economy shipping? really? seems a bit steep - almost half the price of the CD... anyone else ordering? I'm on the fence...

 

Immersion Blu ray 7 years ago makes this unnecessary for me.

 

Looks like it's the previous SACD mastering back in print. I missed out last time, so I will be ordering (with a couple other SACDs so I can get free shipping).

 

good idea, order I think $89 worth to make shipping free. at least that used to be the magic number

 

So this IS a straight re-issue of the 2011 hybrid SACD (CAPP 33453 SA), right?

It's just a reissue of the 2011. I am guessing DSOTM will just be a reissue of the 2003 and not a new master either. I'll pass.

 

After you make your order on Acoustic Sounds's website, you can call them up and they will manually switch the order to cheaper media mail shipping for like $4.

 

I have never had to call. I just indicate under "shipping instructions" to mail using media mail. They will then process the order accordingly.

Was the stereo even transferred in DSD or is this a PCM to DSD conversion? I'd only be listening to the Redbook stereo layer.
