There was a period when "Bad to the Bone" was used anytime a movie featured a kid or animal dressed in a leather jacket with sunglasses.

Oh ! I wasn't talking about Stills or Springfield He and they are fantastic. My comment was about Norman Greenbaum's ' Spirit in the Sky ' which I like and the album it ' s on which I don't like.
    Sorry for any confusion

    Michael I LOVE WIDE S-T-E-R-E-O!

Stills was/is in the music business to make money...and he's still making sure he does...good for him!

You sometimes read stories where Stills says he was on Sunset, watching the riots....but the band of course was in SF that week. Sort of like when Steve said (for a while) that he was serving in Viet Nam in 67....which meant I must've been spending a lot of gas money driving to Da Nang to see the band play.

I'm trying to remember which Moby Grape track fwiw was noodled from while the bands were staying together.... that info came from Einerson.

I’m calling BS on him “stealing it from a Moby Grape tune.” What’s the tune he supposed ripped off?

I remember checking "murder" back when the book came out and thinking well...the chord changes aren't that close.

I spoke to Peter Lewis a couple of years ago and asked him about Stills and "For What It's Worth." I asked him how come "Murder In My Heart For the Judge" on the Wow album didn't sound like that Buffalo Springfield track. He told me once Stills took that riff there was no point in recording it with that lick anymore.

I never thought the stereo version sounded good at all, but someone did a remix (or maybe DES) and really improved the sound and placement .

It was actually two Moby Grape songs stitched together--"Murder In My Heart For The Judge" and "Stop!" And he told Moby Grape about doing it!
