That's actually a great song as far as power ballads go. Great intro and synth hook

Pathetic. I don’t think it’s Lou’s vocals. Without context it seriously looks like some sort of pedo song.

 

Good for "them" for the exposure.
Impressive that they (for the most part) have not one original member & they still get the gigs & tours that they do.

 

I should add that "Waiting for a Girl Like You" was actually a very good track. It just represented another example of the band moving away from a hard rock act to a pop rock act.

 

My eyes were filled with something while watching that, but it wasn’t double vision.

I never even liked foreigner, but this makes me sad.
I suppose it unceremoniously rams home “you gotta do what you gotta do”…which makes me even sadder.

I never was a fan and I don’t own any of their albums. But if these guys are there because they like to play music, entertain their fans, get exposure, sell a few records, why not? I would feel sorry if they were doing it out of financial need.

Mick Jones should have wound this joke up years ago. If he can't perform himself retire the band. Apparently Jones joined the band for one gig in 2021. Other original members have made guest appearances in recent years.

I did a double take when they announced that Forgeigner was coming up. I did not expect Lou but thought that Mick still played with the band. A little strange.

 

Cologne for babies of course. Duh!

(Actually it's an animated movie that spawned a Netflix tv show and now a movie sequel, one of my kids loves it. Think of it as a sanitised Stewie from Family Guy)

 

They looked like they were having fun and the crowd seemed to be enjoying it.
As cheesy as it may be, the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade is a time-honored tradition and at the end of the day they will be able to say they were a part of it. Can any of you say that?
It's no different than "performing" on American Bandstand, Merv Griffin or Solid Gold. Good on them for being asked!
