    Fantastic track, still stands up.

And yet nothing on the album sounded remotely like it.

    Swizz!

The Producers. Didn't see them here, felt obligated to include them in this list. Headlined MTV's Rockin' Eve in 1982. I've seen them perform a bunch of times and even scored a pristine copy of their debut album a couple of years ago in the local bin. If you were from the Southeast you might remember them. Power pop.

Id' forgotten this until seeing it on the newly reissued "Now Thats What I Call Music vol. 7" That reissue series is digging up several forgotten classics.

This wasn't a hit here in the Dutch charts. The only two songs that make the Dutch charts were "Hey' Little Girl" (1982) and "Crazy" (1987).

Kinda like Double-Blue. Should of just released the singles and called it quits
No wonder the album never received a compact disc release, geesh

The rest sounds like a completely different band. Shocking, as that single is great. Was pretty big here. Still hear it on occasion on local radio.

The Other Ones (Holiday, All the Love). Holiday had some chart success, but I like All the Love more

Yes I first heard it on the US chart countdown that BBC Radio 1 would do on a Saturday afternoon. Loved it, then found a 7" in the bargain bin of a local record shop (40p)...before it then became a UK smash a month or two later. By the time it hit the UK top 3 I was a bit sick of it!

An all-time favourite of mine though. The rest of the album is, as you say, like a different band. And not a very good one!

Much to my gals dismay, not forgotten in my household.
She's threatened me a few times, 'It's Over' may become a reality if I don't watch it
Thanks for the reminder!, I still need to grab that 12 inch for the instrumental :)

I think She Drives Me Crazy might still be getting some play, thus keeping them on the radar. I think that video clip is also very memorable :)

The Double CD isn't quite as bad as Sly Fox. I like a few things on it. Same with the 2nd album, Dou3le :)

They had a Top 20 hit with this, but the star-crossed Boston band, Treat Her Right (their awful name probably played into this), deserved so much more... I Think She Likes Me features the great harp playing of Jim Fitting (who also played with The The) and vocals by Mark Sandman, who went onto much greater fame with the cooler named Morphine (with Treat Her Right drummer Billy Conway)... I was pleased with Sandman and Conway's later success but always preferred Treat Her Right to Morphine... anyway, from the summer of '88, their lone hit:
