France record and audio stores

Traveling in France (mostly Paris, Lyon, and Dijon). Looking for cool record stores and/or audio equipment stores. Any recommendations?

 

depends on what type of music you are after … we went to walrus cafe and the jazz corner last year.

not sure on the equipment ... I bet there are lots of great stores!

Here are some cool record stores to check out in Paris:

Monster Melodies (9 rue des Dechargeurs): Very high prices, but great inventory of used, often hard-to-find records on the second level, with old audio gear on the lower level (I didn't have time to check out the gear).

Crocodisc (42 Rue des Ecoles): Another very good used record store, with a separate shop for jazz nearby.

Plus de Bruit (35 Rue de la Rochefoucauld): Smaller, more low-key record shop, but still a good/interesting selection of used records.
