I was lucky to find 4 of her original mid-60's Vogue LP's, she's awesome, what a voice.

Wow...I saw that movie at a local movie theater back in the 60s. It's been a long time, but I think I remember her! I'm gonna have to check it out.

It's funny: my niece recently began working for Panther Racing, so at the moment, I'm a novice car racing buff.

Here's a video she put together (for Panther Racing) for the new 2012 Car: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dzOozRDCYbs&feature=youtu.be

Are you sure? I don't remember her being in Masculin Féminin.

Indeed her albums in English are utstanding, not just "Loving You", but also the even better "One-Nine-Seven-Zero", a wonderful album!

    Françoise Hardy Appreciation Thread

Apart from the small list of Françoise Hardy threads, there are no Apreciation threads for her, so i've started one, as she deserves one.

Probably the best french singer ever. She's the only one I enjoy.

Some of her best songs are:

Tous Les Garcons Et Les Filles
Just Call & I'll Be There (Le Temps Des Souvenirs)
Only You Can Do It (Je Veux Qu'il Revienne)
Say It Now (Dis Lui Non)
Another Place (La Nuit Est Sur La Ville)
L' Amour S' En Va (entered into Eurovision 1963)
Va Pas Prendre Un Tambour (this one's got a rocking drum beat)
Je T'Aime (The first song I ever heard by her, which got me into her music)
Ce Petit Coeur (This Little Heart)

I admit, that some songs I prefer in english, mainly Only You Can Do It, Say it Now and This Little Heart.

    And, as always, some pictures!:

IMHO she cut some much much better song in the late 60s.

If you like them in English, check out the album One Nine Seven Zero, which features some of them:
Song of winter, I just want to be alone, In the sky... That's a trio of amazing masterpiece right there.

It's gone :( more youtube copyright confusion - maybe some can see it in their countries, I will never understand this nonsense.

Here's the recent Françoise Hardy/Jacques Dutronc documentary that was on French TV...

Unfortunately it's in French and doesn't have subtitles :(
