Interesting that he says he thinks that 'none of the albums are a hundred percent', but then among the 'certain pieces' he likes, he lists the entire album WOIIFTM!
The Voice Of Cheese--A smack to the hippie scene maybe? A good interlude for this album that captures the times of the young teen hippie late 1960's scene. An historical time piece Cheese is. Hello teenage America "I'm Suzy Creamcheese" just love that loud "SNORK".
FZ has also said he really enjoyed The Dangerous Kitchen and The Jazz Discharge Party Hats. lol. He says so about 01:18 seconds into the following interview (good interview) > >
Now, I thought the rules were that we couldn't discuss a particular piece of music until it had officially been brought up; vis à vis: The Eric Dolphy Memorial Barbecue. I count Dolphy among my favorite musicians, but that track never lived up to its name, in my opinion.
A true masterpiece of an album! My personal favorite album of all time. A DADA musical monument of timeless significance. This album hooked me from the very first spin One of the most awesome album covers of all time!! So exquisitely repulsive! "Punk" before punk. King Kong in all it's glory, indeed! My friends at the time didn't seem to get it. UNCLE MEAT was the big statement from "the other side of the 60's" Deliberate anti-top 40 The Zappa "fork-in-the-road" Amen.
OK well, sorry for somewhat indirectly discussing it; it having been mentioned (but not really discussed). As for Zappa's comments about his catalog, I never expected to necessarily agree with him, but I disagree on much of what he cited and, more importantly, what he didn't mention. We're getting there, folks. Stay tuned.
My favorite part of that interview is when he’s asked if Band so and so is prog. Procol Harum? No Traffic? No Pink Floyd?.... sometimes Genesis?..... sometimes King Crimson? Sometimes Devo? No
This vid is well known, widely circulated? I'm surprised by the quality. Never saw it before. Thanks. Track listing?

here's what i have to say about the voice of cheese: SNOOORRRRRRRK In other words, it contributes to the big picture, but is not really anything particularly interesting.
This is about the time I post my review anyway, but I’ll post mine anyway. It’s a surreal piece that isn’t really a standout to listen to on its own but works as part of the big picture.
It's like the connective tissue that transforms an album from a simple collection of songs into a truly memorable listening experience.
An interesting piece of commentary ... i haven't been able to fit in any of these groups/cliques so i have come home to my mothers. Not a song as such, just another interesting piece of commentary that Zappa figured fit in his picture. The snorks are interesting also. Do we interpret them as making fun of her? Do we interpret them as vocalisations of how she is feeling? Zappa likes to keep us guessing
Here's an interview with Pamela talking about her trip overseas with FZ/MOI. Uploaded year 2013, not many views. Pretty decent clip.
