He was indeed. And as a result we wound up with some glorious high resolution stereo too. Frank Zappa - Halloween
Supposedly a few hundred came out in England, Germany and Italy. There's sixteen currently available on discogs. Frank Zappa - Zappa In New York
A few hundred? And none here. I don't think I'll be chasing one down for $100 at this point. Thanks for pointing me to the Discogs page. I assume the FZ-approved 2 CD versions are uncensored. Maybe I'll stumble on one, cheap.
Joe Travers said it was posted accidentally and wrongly by someone. It will be up tomorrow and correct
I can't afford more releases, but Hot Rats is one of my favorite albums in the whole universo (even though I must admit I only listen to terrestrial music). My last question: which was the price tag?
Since there was wrong info posted, we should probably just wait for the announcement before assuming anything we've read here is true.
Uncensored, but altered. T&B and Punky's are re-edited; T&B adds an extra segment that wasn't on either of the two vinyl editions but the original Punky's is included as one of the bonus tracks on the 40th box.
The person who operates their store web page mistakenly put up the Hot Rats release info a day early. It will be re announced tomorrow which is the 50th anniversary of the original release.
Great avatar. Ace on Tom Snyder. Greatest moment in television history. Still piss my pants when I see the clip.
Anniversary editions get more exhaustive each day and I feel I need them. I hate that part of me, honestly.
It's back up in the store. https://store.zappa.com/the-hot-rats-sessions-box-set-preorder.html *Never mind. It's there one minute, gone the next.*
