There are two sets of demos out now. One has a couple of otherwise unreleased songs like Foot Down and Low, Go For It and The Answer Lies.

They both have that song! Should've been on the album, that one.

Anyway, this was the original demos collection - California Crossing Demos by Fu Manchu
Then they recently put this one out - California Crossing 1st Demo by Fu Manchu

I'm not sure what the various differences between the two are, apart from the track listing, but I think they're two different sets of recordings. I could be wrong though.

Thanks guys. I now have a decent idea where to start, and where to go.

I saw Fu Manchu last night. They put on a great performance! I can't believe these guys are playing small clubs like the one last night. It probably holds 300. I can't think of a better hard rock band to see in concert. The sound was good (for a concert) and they were in top form IMO.

...awesome! I got tickets for July. They’re playing at a bar nearby in Costa Mesa. Looking forward to it. I’ve seen them a few times in similar venues and it’s always a great time. Last time I saw them Fatso Jetson opened. Another band I really dig.
    Who was it last night?

Great that you got to see them again!

I had tix to see them in ATL, but I still hadn’t settled back in from last week’s NYC trip to see Steven Wilson (two nights), so I gave Fu a pass this time. I wish they were playing closer.
