    Yes, good call. People seem to forget (or are not aware of it), but there were tons of white session musicians, producers and writers involved in many funk/R&B classics. The most famous of those arguably Steve Cropper and Donald 'Duck' Dunn, who played on dozens of iconic Stax releases.
