Oscar Wilde: Homer, there are only two tragedies in life: One is not getting what one wants, and the other is getting it.
Homer: But that makes no sense.
Oscar Wilde: Experience is simply the name we give to our mistakes.
    Homer: Shut up!

When Bart responds to his teacher's personal ad, and the family tries to write a goodbye letter. Homer says that sensitive love letters are his specialty:

"Dear Baby, welcome to Dumpville.... Popluation: you."

    begins at 3:10

Wow... I remember that trojan scene, it was just totally destroyed in the german dub - I mean, you just CAN'T translate that joke so that the audience still get the gist of it. How brilliant this is in english :biglaugh:

Maggie's first word was the same as my daughter's - "Da-da."
Homer: "As soon as they start talking, they start talking back."

My favorite exchange from The Movie:
Bart: This is the worst day of my life.
Homer: No, this is the worst day of your life so far.

I really don't know the episode exactly, but it was one where Homer was suspecting Bart of something and he mentions it to someone (Lisa?) in the hallway while Bart is in his room. Homer says something like: "look at him there, sitting on his bed, trying to look innocent eating that apple." Just that along with the image of Bart eating an apple being absolutely oblivious to what Homer was saying. A simple scene, but hilarious.
