‘Legion’s Third Season Will Be Its Last On FX

Season three is to be the final one. It's been challenging for me to get into the show and I've still the last few episodes of season 2 to finish (I've read the spoilers). With an endpoint in sight I'm more incentivized to start watching again.

As much as I've enjoyed the show I think it's good it ending after three. Leave me wanting more instead of wearing out the welcome.

Shame as I really enjoy this series; the storylines, the acting and the overall style of the show are top drawer for me

I've really enjoyed it, but I am also glad they get an opportunity to finish it with a known last season versus a cancellation

Perhaps, this was ALSO a victim of the MARVEL(X-Men)-FOX-to-Disney exchange?....

Hawley said he was always planning 3 seasons for a three act narrative. Makes total sense to me, as his other anthology show (Fargo) wraps up each story in a single season, so I don't think he particularly needs the runway to end it on a satisfactory note. I think this is also becoming a trend in this whole peak-TV era. Mr. Robot is also wrapping up sooner than expected with 4 seasons. That being said, I doubt anything as weird as Legion will be made under the supervision of Mickey & co.

    And so....
we see the end of a 'golden age', when TV could get 'weird'....
    Well....
    there's still "Preacher" & "HAPPY!"....

Preacher and Happy are two of my favourite shows, especially Happy which I thought was absolutely hilarious, although it didn't seem to get talked about much...

I think we'll still see plenty of weird TV shows, just not with big name IPs from Disney. All the Marvel and Star Wars properties are very tightly managed.

Preacher is great, but I think it would be impossible to make a safe version of that comic on TV lol.

Season 1 is available on BluRay in the US, but not Season 2.

Does anyone know if Season 2 is “buyable” in blu Ray anywhere else in the world, any region, etc ?

    Streaming 1080p < Blu-ray 1080P

Ach, please don't say Happy has been cancelled as well

Don't forget that The Boys is coming soon, one of my favourite comic books :righton:

I finally wrapped up Season Two in preparation for Three. I'm in just to see how it all ends, but for me at least, Doom Patrol is the better "weird" comic TV show.

Season 3, Episode one has happened. Or will it be happening? Perhaps it is happening now.
