The books contained a couple of story threads that I really enjoyed but I have struggled a little with the show...Here is hoping that the new season kicks some serious posterior.

I'm looking forward to this season, but I hope they budgeted some money for some serious battle scenes. I read the first three books and really liked them but I can see where they've significantly veered from the books in the second season. I was really looking forward to reading the 4th and 5th books but from what I've read it seems they are nowhere near as good as the first three. The author may have lost his magic. At any rate, when I'm done reading the Dark Tower series I might go back to Game of Thrones, season 3 of the show will be done by then so it might be a good time to pick it up again.

Finished season 2 last night, maybe not as good as season 1, but still very exciting. By the way stories are unfolding, I don't think even 10 more seasons can tie all the knots :).
She's hot, but I find the actress kinda unconvincing, maybe the weakest link in the cast (together with the girl playing Sansa, but I guess that's the way her character is supposed to be)...

Alas, she is The Queen Of Dothraki, Mother Of Dragons!!

  18. I hope HBO dosn't end this series like they did Deadwood.

Tragic, the way they ended Deadwood. There was talk of a couple of 2 hr episodes to tie it up, but doubtful that will ever happen now with Olyphant busy doing Justified .
