Gear you'll never own but wish you did

I wish I could own these Arya Airblade AMT's

 

Pretty much everything owned by the rich people that regularly post here.

 

Wow, that thing looks like it wants to eat anything that comes near it. Is this intended to be an add-on tweeter that sits atop the speaker system?

My personal wish I owned it is the Lyra Connoisseur phono stage. I heard a system at a show with that component and the sound was extremely dynamic.

I would also love to have a pair of Jensen/ERPI M-10 field coil drivers. A really nice system can be built around that amazing wide-range driver (like adding a Western Electric 597 field coil tweeter).

 

I'll repeat myself but: Rel n⁰32 six pack line array. Don't care for any other expensive gear.

I wish I had the additional space to accommodate a pair of Klipschorns, but I don't.

And I don't see myself ever buying the additional space.

I had an Onk 508 here for a while. Nice unit but you should aim higher.

Fine, I'll go with that as my choice.

And then sell it and buy lots of guitars and records.

 

Practically: a Luxman. Even if I saved up for it I wouldn’t trust my apartments electricity not to short every time I run it.

There are also loads of speakers I’ll never even consider because of space limitations. If the market ever comes back to reality and I can buy a home maybe that opens things up but in all likelihood I’ll never own tower speakers or a sub.

 

I don't need to own these (but maybe I would If I heard them): top end Lyra and Koetsu cartridges, and the alternative tech cartridges, such as DS Audio optical, SS Strain gauge, DaVa Field Coil or AT Art-1000. Mostly just want to know if there really is something far better out there, or whether it is all reviewer hype.

 

I'd love a giant pair of field coil horns I'd of course have to remove almost all the furniture from my tiny apartment to fit them.

 

If someone were to gift me a couple Audio Research 160 monos I wouldn't get all hissy.
