Wow, that thing looks like it wants to eat anything that comes near it. Is this intended to be an add-on tweeter that sits atop the speaker system? My personal wish I owned it is the Lyra Connoisseur phono stage. I heard a system at a show with that component and the sound was extremely dynamic. I would also love to have a pair of Jensen/ERPI M-10 field coil drivers. A really nice system can be built around that amazing wide-range driver (like adding a Western Electric 597 field coil tweeter).
I wish I had the additional space to accommodate a pair of Klipschorns, but I don't. And I don't see myself ever buying the additional space. Jeff
I’m not greedy. If I were to strike the national lottery it would the following: Speakers: Marten Parker Trio Sub: JL Audio F112 (x2) DAC: MSB Premier Amplifier: Vinnie Rossi Bhrama Streamer: Lumin U2
Practically: a Luxman. Even if I saved up for it I wouldn’t trust my apartments electricity not to short every time I run it. There are also loads of speakers I’ll never even consider because of space limitations. If the market ever comes back to reality and I can buy a home maybe that opens things up but in all likelihood I’ll never own tower speakers or a sub.
I don't need to own these (but maybe I would If I heard them): top end Lyra and Koetsu cartridges, and the alternative tech cartridges, such as DS Audio optical, SS Strain gauge, DaVa Field Coil or AT Art-1000. Mostly just want to know if there really is something far better out there, or whether it is all reviewer hype.
I'd love a giant pair of field coil horns I'd of course have to remove almost all the furniture from my tiny apartment to fit them.
