Does this mean a Frehley-Simmons-Stanley make-up tour is back on the cards?

I'm sure Ace's manager is driving a hard bargain while Gene and Paul are holding out.

Hope you get your set in good time and that you get many hours of good listening out of it. Oh yeah, fingers crossed for that Rolex too.

I'll be living vicariously through you on this one.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts. Be well in the meanwhile.

Also looking forward to hearing your review of the box set and music.

One thing with all of us is that we share a love for KISS music because when we hear the songs, it puts a smile on our faces. Enjoy the music in this mega box set.

The whole Eddie Trunk Vinnie Vincent interview is up on YouTube... ]

you should jump ahead a bit on it - very interesting stuff.

Also as much criticism as Gene gets, I've found him to be pretty magnanimous the times I've met him (twice was outside of a music environment, so that may have had something to do with it...)

I've heard some horror stories about Gene being a rude jerk to them.

I've seen some of the crap that people having been removing from the vault...a 70s Kiss banner and an old usused ticket. Sheesh at least you would've thought he would've put decent stuff in there.

I think one guy who spent $50,000 got a 2015 photo pass, and a sealed Elder cassette. I'd be mad too!

    Received my prepack set yesterday
    Included :
-official t shirt of the vault
    -backstage pass
-golden ticket signed by gene simmons himself
    -the single "are you ready"

I really the song that was supposed to be on the album Monster, a cool anthem song, nice way to start the vault.

  17. Ha! Good luck, Gene. The Russians will have this in no time. (of course it's not the same as owning the box, but still.)

  20. This really cool. I can't tell if he liked the songs or not, though. Heh. I thought he might have been a little too harsh on a few with at least some cool riffs. On the other hand, maybe he's asking himself how much will he actually listen to these discs. I probably wouldn't listen too much. It's like with the KISS boxset, I was super happy to get these unreleased songs from the '70s, but once I heard them I just crossed them off my list.

It all boils down to taste.

It certainly is quite an extravagant package. No pre-KISS songs?

I know that Stanley the parrott didnt make the cut, but i have alrrady a good copy of this, My uncke is a raft is a pre-kiss song.

I know that gene always brought for each albums, a lot of songs, instead Paul only brought the songs that will be on the nee album. Soma Paul vault or songs not on an album compilation is maybe impossible.

I knw that i have maybe 5 songs from crazy nights era, that i got from bootleg, also Body and soul from psycho circus. Others songs were released on the kiss box set. I have also some songs from the elder of Paul and thats it. So i dont aee any compilation from paul one day to be release. It will look too cheap near the vault, and there is a lot of competitions between those 2.

Gene does not have a lawyer, he has lawyers! Wow, mob bosses only have one lawyer (I know - I watch movies...) but Gene needs multiple lawyers.

Amazing how a mediocre singer/musician/song writer like Gene can be so successful. Wonderful world we live in.
