Well they are bar-coded if that's what you mean and state 'Print Me' on them so I presume this will gain me access to the venue on Monday

    What? Tickets? Or Genesis?

I'm a Genesis fan and saw them for the first time at MSG in 1977 when Gabriel joined them on stage for a surprise song. I guess I've seen them 4-5 times in all.

The audience's eyes were always on Phil because he was such a riveting, playful performer in concert, whether it was when he and Chester drummed together or when he captivated the crowd at center stage with his energy, often just goofing around with a tambourine.

I'll be curious to see clips from opening night but based on watching videos from his solo concerts and the recent footage of the band, my gut is that it'll be kind of sad to watch him.

    I hope I'm wrong.

It's on Spotify and all tracks are tagged as remastered in 2007 or 2008.

That picture is about a year old at least. I have a similar picture I saved from the same session and, like you say, it's a much better promo than most of what we've seen. Phil looks like our usual Phil.

    WOW
I was aware of Phil joining at solo Gabriel gigs

But I never heard about Gabriel joining with Genesis other than the 'Six of The Best' in 1982!

From my post above about Peter Gabriel showing up at a Genesis concert... it was actually 1978.

Here's the audio of "I Know What I Like" where PG joined them at the Garden:

Doesn’t look like I can go now, just had an email about the event from ticketmaster saying covid passports are required to get in the venue (Birmingham arena). Have tried to enquire about a refund, but as it’s a resale ticket, I think I’m sunk. No customer support telephone number available. So disappointed.

Personally if I were someone having a seat in front of you I would be pleased with this decision.
I am going to 3 shows in London in November (one has been cancelled) with a friend who is 81 and has been unable to do anything for two years because of Covid. He is not sure he will join me unless there is a policy that allows him to feel safe so I hope other venues follow. For sure it will be like this in Wales and Scotland from next month and it's already like this almost anywhere in Europe. Hopefully England will follow.

I think the government policy at the moment in England is to rely on good old British (sic) common sense and let the individual decide what’s best for themselves.

Glad that Scotland and Wales are taking a more proactive approach.

Phil looks like our usual Phil. That’s beautifully put. I miss our happy Phil.

I expected so close to the tour starting that their merchandise site would have already added tour shirts posters programs etc. I hope they do in case the event itself sells out which I had happen before.

This might be a condition, but I cannot see venue staff checking every single person who attends…I’m double vaccinated and have no idea how to prove this…the little card doesn’t count, does it?

You generate a QR code in your NHS app, that’s your “covid pass”. I for one am glad that they’re enforcing it.

What about non-British people who are fully vaccinated, and with a European QR code, but which is obviously not a NHS one ?
I'm sure there are many foreigners that have bought tickets for these shows, pre-covid.
    I've done everything asked:

-Booked and paid for a DAY2 TEST
-Filled the Passenger Locator Form with the test number
-I am fully vaccinated with a recognized vaccine (Pfizer)

I hope I won't be kept out of the stadium because my QR code does not come from NHS. :yikes:
