Gillian Anderson - American or British accent????

    This is sort of off-topic, but... has anyone else besides me ever thought that the woman in Adam Sandler's "The Buffoon and the Valedictorian" sketch sounds sort of like Gillian Anderson? I know it's not actually her, but there are certain spots in the sketch where the similarity is pretty striking.... particularly around the 1:30 mark when she says "day to day basis"... it sounds just like Scully! :p

    Part of it that she isn't very old. I think that when she got the role of Scully - a woman who completed residency and med school, then joined the FBI - she was actually only 20 years old or so. They gave her the power suits and the middles aged haircuts to make her look older.
