Sadly from a bygone era now.

 

Rita was probably at the peak of her glamour in GILDA.

 

...She said, " Men go to bed with Gilda, and wake up with me ".

 

It is a chance I’d have been willing to take.

 

...But was she made of silver nitrite?

 

Hers is a typical Hollywood story in many ways. Beauty and fame couldn’t buy her love. Then again, she made some really bad choices when it came to men, and seemed doomed to repeat the same mistake.

 

There was no Hollywood happy ending. Such a sad life and tragic life. . I’ve wondered how much of her struggles were blamed on alcohol by the press when it was actually the beginning of Alzheimer’s.

 

She matched Fred step-for-step...

 

Read she was his best partner.
But, on his appearance on the Parkinson’s show Fred specially mentioned Ginger Rogers.

 

I've watched this video many times and she matched him move-for-move, but I know she was not his favorite.
