Not sure why you think that? He has played with many, many other musicians, on stage and off.

Was her name really Lillian Roxon? I thought it sounded too much like a pen name (Lillian rocks on).

    That is correct.
There’s still plenty of releasable material from that era left in the can and I hope they do release the rumoured deluxe edition at some point.
Some tracks would need overdubs, but there is finished stuff too, like the brilliant “Let’s go steady” cover from 79.

I guess they see a deluxe Tattoo You set as something that would sell more than say an Emotional Rescue or Black and Blue one.
I’d personally love to see a deluxe set for each album, but that seems unlikely.

Tattoo You was a better seller than either Black and Blue or Emotional Rescue probably due to Start Me Up and Waiting On A Friend.

Imagine a deluxe set for each album , there would be no room left in the house for anything else.

Since we now have Sticky, Exile and Some Girls, with Goats coming, the next logical choices are either Black And Blue or It’s Only Rock ‘N Roll.

The next logical choice is Tattoo You which outsold all of those. We are not sure what is in the vaults but there is a scarcity of available bootleg outtakes from the It's Only Rock 'N' Roll album. A Tattoo You deluxe edition could serve either as an outlet for the best outtakes left or a place to release a complete show from the 1981 tour. Using the RIAA figures from Wikipedia:

    Tattoo You = 4 x Platinum
    It's Only Rock 'N' Roll = Platinum
    Black and Blue = Platinum
    Emotional Rescue + 2 x Platinum

Without a doubt. Tattoo You will more than likely be next. The question is when? I would think the rumored album of new material would follow GHS.

I would slam down hundreds of dollars for the biggest Emotional Rescue boxset possible, without hesitation.

The next logical choice after Sticky Fingers were also claimed to be Tattoo You.
    Now we get GHS.
I don’t believe it. Since it consists of outtakes from the start, I’ll bet it’s the LAST logical choice, since they obviously want to plunder the archives for the individual 70’s albums. Tattoo You makes no sense, though I would welcome it at some point.

I don't think that it's as logical as that.
The first three were chosen as the biggest sellers / most acclaimed.
Who knows what's driving the choice of GHS.
What I think we do know if these are only done when contractually obligated - their 2008 contract demanded 3 and that is what we got.
No one seems to know what is obligated under their new deal.
Just glad we are getting more

There are plenty of alternate takes for a Black and Blue Deluxe Edition without even releasing any new songs. Remember all the studio outtakes on the Sticky Fingers Deluxe Edition were just alternate takes. They could possibly even go that route with Tattoo You as well and just release earlier versions of all the songs with less overdubbing.
