i sometimes get surprised by the relatively small age gap between artists who come from different musical eras. Konitz playing with Nance ( 14 year age gap) on this wonderful small scale project from the latter part of the 1960s. Somehow my simple brain wants to keep the eras well separated when of course many of the earlier era masters grew and evolved and where quite capable playing with the ‘kids’
