Wasn’t that available for around £20 a few months ago?

 

I'm not sure about months ago, but definitely not right now. I've had it on my watchlist for sometime but don't remember seeing it for £20. Was that the initial release price perhaps? I could have missed it elsewhere. If you know where tell me and I'll cancel Amazon and get it. I did a thorough trawl through eBay and other sellers earlier before biting!

It seems that both Clutching at Straws and Misplaced Childhood are both quite pricey now. The new preorder of Script for a Jesters Tear is a very reasonable £23.99 I just bought Brave and Afraid of Sunlight for £24 each though. Trying to get them all. #collectorvirus

 

Can’t remember when exactly - certainly in the last year or so - think super deluxe edition website flagged it up...

 

Probably now a case of shuting the stable doors after the horse bolted! Sadly such deals don't last forever

 

Just to close the loop on this. Replacement copy showed up last week and no issues. I got quotes from UPS & USPS to send the bad copy back. Since the quotes ranged from $90-$130, I initiated another chat, and although the CR spent a lot of time offline, he ultimately agreed that I would not need to return it, and he would close out that return. Thanks for all the replies.

 

Well done at last! They should have just done that to start with. Just wastes your time weighing parcels and getting multiple quotes when it's obvious the cost would be prohibitive anyway. #onadifferentplanet

 

Don't know if this is standard for US-bound replacements, but they did ship via DHL resulting in it arriving here in less than a week to their credit.

 

The Marillions have been frustrating for me. I love the band (especially the Fish era), but they have a tendency to over compress (& over price) these sets, I've bought them all, but haven't been real happy with the sound. I would also prefer to get all the music in hi-res on the blu-rays, rather than the 1 hour long promo interviews.

I gave this a separate threads the other day, but I was able to preorder the Script DE CD/blu from Amazon.UK for aprox $30 USD including del;very. Don't know if the price has gone up or not since then.

 

It's still at £23.99 for the Script Blu-ray. I also saw that the Straws Blu-ray was $43 from Amazon US. But with shipping and taxes that was £55 to UK. So I've ordered from UK at £32 and hope for the best. Otherwise it's HMV for £39 perhaps...if my wallet loosens up!

 

Bill Wyman is back down to £17.74 if you missed it before? It tanked to £15.09 a week ago....then up to mid £20s
