With the extra free time of lockdowns and such I made up a list of books I've been getting through the past few years with the intention of beginning to go through them, figuring this year was my best chance at catching up. That's when I realised I've truly been accumulating more than I could handle! So you're not alone there. Still, I've been making good headway and I've already read more in the past few months than I normally do in any given year. My list remains unimpressed at my progress and keeps growing, though, because the more you read, the more ideas you get for more reading!

That should read "books I've been getting" as in "acquiring".

Did anyone see the pre-order for Jarvis Cocker - Jarvis that popped up today? I love that album and looked forward to receiving it soon - delivery date March (?) 2021!! This is Amused to Death written all over it!

Amazon £5 off £25 spend code for some*
Check special Amazon link to see if you’re eligible

    10,000 available

Got an Amazon account? Log in and go via this special Amazon* link to see if you're eligible for a code that gets £5 off a £25 spend.

If eligible, you’ll see a ‘Get £5 off a £25 purchase’ banner (shown below) or if you can’t get this offer, you’ll see the message ‘Unfortunately you are not eligible to the offer’. This essentially comes down to luck as Amazon hasn't publicised the criteria for getting the £5 code – so it's a nice bonus if you are one of the lucky ones.

I got this offer myself using the link first, but it needs to be an item sold by Amazon, not fulfilled by Amazon and not a third party marketplace seller. I had until 12 July to use it.

I remember the last time they had a similar promotion where you click on the link, I got knocked back...but this time I qualified.

Well done to those who got it! Comiserations to the losers....errr unlucky ones!

LOL, I am eligible but the $5 won't cover the shipping increase!

I may be a total loser however my local friendly record store sold me a sealed copy of the David Bowie at Glastonbury on vinyl for £24 because it was ever so slightly damaged (small dink in the corner), I can live with that, I got it to play it not as an investment :D

Just curious, does your copy have Changes mentioned once or twice on the back cover?
I got this (and had to get the cd/dvd-version aswell) when it was released and mine’s misprint-edition with 2 Changes..according to discogs there was another repress that corrected the mistake.
Not big deal, but when I listened to this for the first time, I had to look more carefully and was funny to find out such mistake on mine.
Other than that, everything else was top notch, I think this is wonderful release and sounded great on my system.

Five squids would definitely cost more than $6.25.
