Good deals on Amazon.co.uk--updated regularly (Part Three)

Yep it's a bit of a chance. Sometimes it's not returns. Just damage to cases etc. Sometimes you luck out and get a perfect item. But sometimes not. But I think you can return stuff if totally trashed.

 

I've tried this out on the Bowie LP...I picked one that said 'Like New'...but I hope I don't get the dreaded unremovable Amazon Warehouse sticker on the actual cover if no shrink wrap on it.

Something I didn't realize is that the £20 free shipping threshold is on the pre-discounted price. So I added another item for £3.95.....but only paid £15 for both after the 30% was removed from the warehouse item.

 

I was just about to buy the Corey Taylor LP (Don't judge, I'm an old Metal head) but I'm 20p short in my vinyl fund.....bummer. And I can't ask the Mrs as I've bought that Elton set, Dookie, an original Reading Writing and Arithmetic and a 4 disc Neil Diamond set off the Bay- all for a fiver of course

 

It's down to £16.35 today!!! Boo hiss etc...

I bought Bob Dylan Trouble No More 4LP off warehouse for £15 a few years back, the only think wrong with it was the lack of download code, believe that download gave the full box set of MP3's so someone had bought and returned it after using the code. Usually the item has a description as to what the issue is. If you see something halfway decent it might be worth trying it. Worst that could happen is you need to return it.

 

Actually agree, I've bought from the warehouse before. If its a good discount then its worth it. And like you say return if not.

 

Yes I got one of those Dylan sets from warehouse deals too. It was still in the shrink if I remember correctly!

For what its worth, that Elton box is ok.

First disc is a bit of a crappy pressing, for me- but the other two wholly make up for it . Quite interesting to hear Snow Queen after just watching a Graham Norton interview with EJ this week on Sky.

 

It's gone down slightly again. Might be worth holding on; might not.

My Bowie "warehouse deal" turned up today and was brand new and sealed. No dings or bends at all. Unless something nasty is lurking inside like pressing faults, I'm chalking up this one as a score!

They are currently £21 listed brand new. And they still offer the same £16 "like new' warehouse deal that I got.... although now NOT £11 with the extra 30% discount added on.

However, it turned up in a brown paper bag which had a thinner than usual record mailer inside. So it could have all gone badly wrong. You just can't double guess Amazon!

Bugger. Have you given it a clean? If you are sending it back you might as well. Ive not played the Bowie yet...but did open it and it looks to be good. Not a coloured one though... surprise surprise!
