Chris Robinson Brotherhood double vinyl & 7" single - Phosphorescent Harvest
    £7.19

Obviously on such a deal i'd tread carefully, i bought this album upon release 8 years ago, very good but one of their albums had pressing issues, i honestly cant recall which one but i know my copy has the 7" single and the two vinyl LO's are orange and red in colour. Just because i miss going for deals (not been many recently.) i myself have ordered a second copy maybe to keep sealed. Dirt cheap so worth a try. If its poor can always return.

Pretty sure this was rectified long ago, within a month or two of its original release. But, yes, if the record sounds off that’ll be why.

Now the dust has settled on CRB, and perhaps Chris Robinson’s career with any integrity attached, I think this was the worst album the band put out. It’s still decent but the year it was left gestating while the Crowes toured in 2013, leaving various band members to add overdubs, was not beneficial.

Maybe it’s just me, but is 3 for £55 considered a deal these days?

There are double LPs available in that offer normally costing over 27. Even if it were 3 single LPs, to get them for less than 20 quid each, would have been a ‘deal’ even over a year ago. But today, with spiralling costs, yes, it’s a deal. Not much of a one, granted, but if among that small selection there are records that you’re interested in, then yes, you’ll save money.

I just used app10uk to get a tenner off a box set on Amazon UK then repeated the exercise on Amazon Spain with app10.

You have to use the Amazon app to avail of this (and probably be invited in the first place).

Just tried it as the Almost Famous 5cd reissue is down to £55 and thought maybe this extra squeeze will tempt me.

Alas i googled and seems the offer works with your first purchase via the app. Still a good deal if you dont have the phone app.

Amazon.co.uk: £10 discount on your first app purchase
You must use the code in the Amazon App before 5th Sept 2022. Your purchase must be of £25 or more in value, comprising items sold and shipped by Amazon. Some restrictions apply.

It wasn’t my first purchase via the app at all … but it worked.

oh wow, must be one of those invite things, didnt work for me but will check my spam folder and see if anything on it, it has a fair amount of time to go on the offer so there maybe a way for me to use.

I very rarely use the app, preferring to buy via their website. But I have used it in the past and for a similar offer. Anyway, tried it again and it worked immediately. Once that was certain, I then cancelled the same pre-order I’d made yesterday, saving me a tenner.

Then I went to ‘settings’, switched to Amazon Spain and did it again with a different item. I’d say Amazon France must be offering the same.
