Just bought at $17.98.
The price of this album fluctuates more than the stock market. Moments after I bought mine, it was down 62¢ to an even $15.00.
Yea, I figured it would probably go down a bit again, but what the heck. Not like I needed it anyways. I didn’t know this album existed before two days ago!!!
What goes up must come down!
The Max Roach is killer! I might even join this vinyl me please club. They have some pretty nice pressings
i realize this ain't the VMP thread, but i'll chime in to say this: you really should. they've acquired rights to some really great jazz & blues. a couple of the jazz LPs are the same as the Music Matters pressings.
...which makes me wonder why someone is blowing these max roach pressings out on amazon.
Which ones are the same as MM?
I remember reading from somewhere just recently that though VMP pressings are also cut by Kevin Gray, they are from digital files.
edit: searched "kevin VMP files" from this forum and yes, VMP pressings are very likely from files.
Kevin does wonders cutting from digital, provided a good transfer.
I think I have hundreds of records cut by Kevin Gray, and yes, they all sound very good.
According to the sticker on the front of the Max Roach album it's all analogue
yes, please do tell!
Jethro Tull Heavy Horses, Steven Wilson Remix - $12.64
Finally cracked open my shipping box for The Kinks Are The Village Green Preservation Society box. All is good, perfect specimen! Out of curiosity I peeked at the current price. Lowest EVER from what I can tell at $95.64...
Amazing price, worth every penny!
Or you can roll the dice with the Amazon Warehouse deal of $85.50, seems there are several of those available.
Thanks for posting the artist and title. Seems like quite the struggle for some.
$11.46. OOS but if you're patient this is a good deal. 2016 pressing.
