LP Bangles : Sweetheart of the Sun (teal vinyl) $14.90 https://www.amazon.com/Sweetheart-Sun-Limited-Teal-Vinyl/dp/B08VCJ1MRW
Love this album! Found myself checking my Discogs to see what color my copy is. Hmmm, would I like teal better? STOP THAT!
Wow, the new Gary Numan actually arrived in a proper box! I hardly know what to do with myself... (No rude suggestions please...) Actually, with this one to be sure, I also ordered the red vinyl set from a seller on Discogs, just to be DAMN sure one of them came without being damaged (I think the Amazon version is grey vinyl)
I just picked this up a few months ago. It's decent, but nothing special. Pretty much in line with most Friday Music releases: good pressing quality, inoffensive sound quality and probably the only way you're getting a brand new copy of the title in question, but not really audiophile quality. And I'm pretty bummed that I missed out on this deal. After shipping I paid about twice that much!
Anyone else order this and get the wrong LP? Correct sticker on the outer cardboard carton but some random album inside. A buddy ordered this as well and same thing happened but totally different album inside than the one i got. Not the first time and def not the last...
That Galactic must be the new "Chasing The Monsoon". Strange stuff! Chasing The Monsoon got down to $5, wonder if Galactic will keep dropping.
Mine was silver. Of course it was also a CD, thus Amazon getting some cash from me and soon I will have some new/not new Bangles in my hands. Thanks Tjazz!
Tommy Bolin's Shake the Devil LP, a collection of Private Eyes demos and outtakes, is down to $13.24 https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B08PX7K1JG
I grabbed it yesterday, never heard this album but I’m a stones fan so what the heck… I hope it’s good. Be silly to have a big box for a unheard (to me) live album haha.
I ended up getting something called Oso Oso - Real Stories Of True People Who Kind Of Looked Like Monsters.
I think that album was also in the Deep Discount Blowout Bin? I don’t know why else it would sound familiar to me at all. Interesting...
