Great deal but third-party seller and list price of $40 makes it look like a mistake, although the rest of the listing matches up. Sure you can always get refunded if the promised item doesn’t show up.
I am betting these have defective DVDs inside. Either way a good deal, and you can still email Neil's official site for a replacement. I got one when I bought one of these a few months back for a similar price. The vinyl sounds really good.
Excellent deal on the Yamaha A-S801 Integrated Amplifier: https://www.amazon.com/Yamaha-S801B...=1639268863&sprefix=yamaha+a-s,aps,189&sr=8-3
Even cheaper: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1079915-REG/yamaha_a_s801sl_integrated_amplifier_silver.html
The dvd's weren't defective, they just weren't to the audio spec as advertised, and someone did the math and let Neil's site know. Honestly I thought the original version audio sounded fine, but I requested and got my replacement dvd a few months ago.
Popmarket has the first movement i have seen on this. 207.79 pre order....and perhaps use a 10 percent coupon on that.
This thread has lost some of its luster now that Garth Brooks has been banished to the Phantom Zone. Neil Young and Ornette Coleman are okay but...
Tom Keifer's solo album on sale for $23.20 which is the cheapest I have seen it. He is the lead singer from the 80s band Cinderella. https://www.amazon.com/Life-Goes-Deluxe-Colored-Vinyl/dp/B08H9DHBRN/ref=sr_1_86?keywords=vinyl&qid=1639359259&refinements=p_75:40-,p_85:2470955011&rps=1&s=music&sr=1-86
Buddy Guy and Junior Wells Play the Blues is on sale for $21.86. This is the MOV version, so that's a pretty good deal. https://www.amazon.com/Play-Blues-B...75:40-,p_85:2470955011&rps=1&s=music&sr=1-339
Telex - This Is Telex (pink & green vinyl): $14.02 https://www.amazon.com/This-Telex-Limited-Green-Vinyl/dp/B08TZ9LX21 I spent 2x this much for this fantastic set.
I hope you guys have better luck with this title than I did. You can see I bought it on two different occasions from Amazon and had to return both for severe damage to the outer cover. I rarely return items, but these two were ruined.
Alice Coltrane, "Kirtan: Turiya Sings" (2021 2xLP version) is only $14.52: https://smile.amazon.com/Kirtan-Turiya-Sings-2-LP/dp/B0957XJMZ3/ However, there are a lot of reviews on Discogs that say they had issues with the pressing, so buyer beware.
Ten Years After 10 CD set, $41.26 + s/h, tax (3rd party seller) https://www.amazon.com/1967-1974-Te...4&sprefix=Ten+years+after+1967,aps,228&sr=8-1
Enthusiastically Shagged, thank you! I love, Love, frigg'n LOVE these guys! To me, they are the quintessential sound of Goth. Normally I'm rather indifferent to singers and they don't really make much of an impression on me, but out of the thousands of albums I have, there are maybe 3 or 4 singers who I truly like and find very moving, and he is one of them. What a voice! I recently bought the absolutely excellent compilation The Worst of the Best of, and I frigg'n HIGHLY recommend it! The mastering is quite good too. That is the only one I have on vinyl, although I have everything by them in FLAC. This is their first album, and it is not quite as 'polished' maybe as some later ones (and, I NEVER praise 'polishness'! Usually equates to BORINGNESS) but, there are a few songs on it that are not on the compilation. To me, the song Glass Walls of Limbo (awesome title!) is just about the pinnacle of the Goth sound that I like. Thanks again Bro for the excellent post!
