Thanks -- played the heck of this set via CD, since it was released --- looking forward to having it on vinyl.

  8. I have to relay the excellent experience I had with Amazon US, recently.

Thanks to @DapperGentleman 's info, I ordered two copies of the Alex Somers "Siblings 2" LP at the price of $8.23 each.

Each LP was contained within one of those big 'frustration-free' cardboard box(es).

In addition to that ... both F-F boxes were then contained within an outer box with just enough of those air-pillows to provide a perfect fit for transport.

I was amazed at the care Amazon gave for this transaction.

Are the white death baggies still being used?

Agree, thanks to @DapperGentleman is definitely in order. I picked this up as well and had the same shipping experience. More often than not, Amazon gets it right.

As as happens often with recommendations like this, I went down the rabbit hole and sourced Siblings (1) on vinyl on eBay. Shipped it was under $15 and I'm pleased to have both. Siblings is definitely worth searching out.

I have to ask.... not trying to be snarky.
Does anyone actually enjoy listening to Live Stones from this later period?
    Just curious.

Ive wondered this too. I like watching the shows so I buy all concert films from apple/itunes or bluray and I go see them whenever they do a US run but i havent bought any of the audio only from this era.

I'm a pretty major Stones fan - they're my favorite band and have been for 50 years.
Not only do I not listen to their latter day live stuff, I don't even collect it anymore.
When I bust out some live Stones, it's a nostalgic visit to Ya Yas, or Brussels. Would love some more shows from this era.

The main problem with all recent Stones vault releases (regardless of era) is the sound quality -- I find them fatiguing to listen to. Fans all have their favorite eras, so whether you will like the playing or song choices from a particular tour can depend on preference, but it all (largely) goes out the window when the mixing and mastering detracts from the enjoyment. YMMV.

(I have the same problem with the bonus material on the Universal expanded issues of the post-ABKCO catalog.)

Like this album a lot. I see this pressing is by MPO. Is it decent quality?
