Indeed, the original album was superb. However, I have an early pressing of The Pink Panther soundtrack and this anniversary edition on pink vinyl with mastering by Kevin Gray sounds better than my original. Not sure how it stacks up to other reissues. Now, as for the cover, definitely go with the Dynagroove edition!

OJC would've been good. Bummer that these dodgy labels are flooding the marketplace. I've almost pulled the trigger on Wax Time or Jazz Wax or whatever they're calling themselves next, only to save myself prior to clicking "buy" more times than I can count.
Wait, what? This 2xLP album is mastered / lacquer cut by Ryan K. Smith at Sterling?? I assume / hope it's this pressing: Adele - 30 I saw that the $9.49 offer had disappeared, replaced by $9.32 + $3.99 as the lowest price .... So to avoid eating a shipping fee should I need to return it, I opted for another seller who was offering free shipping at $13.32 (Service First Media with 97% positive ratings). I don't know whether I've even heard an Adele song before (I almost certainly have but didn't make the connection). Yet, I'll give it a try for less than half-price and the expectation of hearing it well-mastered.
really hard to say which it will be. i got a copy from deep discount and it was the MPO pressing. flawless, thankfully and actually sounds very good. not a half bad album either.

I wonder what this 'Remix' sounds like, I didn't know anything about it. Any brief comments about how the sound/mix compares to usual pressings. I was extremely fortunate about 12 years ago to get a 1st UK pressing before I'm sure the prices went silly (I think I paid about $12 - my very first online record purchase [from MusicStack]) and that has by far the best sound compared to any US pressing.
I have a number of the Blu-ray-A's from the Immersion set, I wonder if it is taken from that...? ***EDIT IIRC, when the Immersion set was released you couldn't get the individual Blu-ray-A's, maybe that is what this release is. I don't remember without checking if Animals was one of the ones in the set. ***EDIT 2 Ah, I just checked. I have the Immersion Blu-ray audio of DSOTM and Wish You Were Here, NOT Animals. Perhaps this is new...
