The Zombies: Complete Studio Recordings (5 lp box set) – $87 (30% off from $124) A great mono collection of almost all their 60s studio output. I say almost because it's missing the fantastic "Road Runner." This didn't stop me from getting it three years back, though. And I've never regretted it. This collection includes their debut Begin Here, Odessey and Oracle, 2 LPs of recordings in between, and RIP, the collection of material leading up to and following Odessey. Note, however, that you can buy all four discs separately, and the box doesn't offer a book or any other perks. So if you're not interested in the full collection, you may prefer to go that route. This is the lowest price it's been at since 2020.
I might chime in and say that I found the mastering on this set not so great. Very hit and miss. Tape drag, brickwalled. I would avoid. Cheap pressings, off center. I bought it a while back (I think for around $60) and traded it in at my local.

Well, got my Bob Dylan Fragments tonight. Shipped from the US to Canada in one of those flimsy white bubble mailers. As you can guess, pretty major crumple on one corner, probably from a toss in transit. Contacted Amazon and initially they wanted me to send it back and give me a refund plus they would pay for shipping. I protested since I was unlikely to find it for this price again and they were not offering another copy, but I didn't push it. I asked for compensation. Eventually agreed to a $20 credit (they offered $15). Not bad! Net cost $6 or $7 plus shipping and duty, so less than $20 all in. Probably better for them too since they would have had to absorb the cost of shipping both ways. Listening now and sound's good!
My buddy received the 2 disc version of Fragments instead of the deluxe version. He used the same link so not sure what happened.
I'll readily admit I don't have an audiophile's ear. I do know that I haven't had any off-center pressings in my box. It's more than good enough in my book, but I appreciate you adding your insight for those with higher standards.
It isn't the box set, but the Amazon exclusive of Revolver with the cool slip mat has come down to $26. That's way more reasonable than $40. Who do these guys think they are with list prices like that? Adele?!? Amazon.com
Yeah, Zombie Heaven remains the best place for Zombies one stop shopping. Better than the sketchy and/or lousy vinyl cash-ins in recent years. Supplement that with the Time of the Zombies 2LP collection if you insist of Zombie vinyl in your collection.
You have a lifetime limit on how many of those "one time" refunds you get on an Amazon account, and it's not very high. I would not waste them on getting a $5 refund--but that's me.
The Band Cahoots Super Deluxe Vinyl. $41.42 The set has been heavily discounted off and on for quite a while. At this price it has dipped so low, it’s cheaper to buy to use as landfill in place of crushed stone. https://www.amazon.com/Cahoots-50th...cb-831d-ac259126876a&pd_rd_i=B09JWP9Y9Y&psc=1
You'll know it when you have a big problem and they tell you "there's nothing we can do except have you send it back." And I know of people who hit the limit after a very small number of issues.
Arriving Friday the 17th. Wasn't sure about it making it for a while. My Dylan Fragments made it unscathed. Packed with a t-shirt and lawn seed.
For a moment, I thought the t-shirt and lawn seeds were extras in the box set. I wouldn't put it past Dylan, although the t-shirt seems out of character.
