Thanks for this list. There's a lot of "do I REALLY need these" sitting in my cart right now due to the very tempting prices. Some excellent Box Set bargains especially the recent Blondie Super Deluxe set for $277. One major complaint about this list. You are Amazon for christ sake. You provide web services to countless businesses. Why can't you design a search feature for YOUR OWN SITE so that when I hit the back button I get taken to the last items I viewed NOT the home page for all daily deals where I initially landed on your site???? I ordered the Tone Poet Stepping out this morning since it was marked down. It just arrived. It’s not in shrink and no hype sticker. Jacket is really banged up. Not optimistic about the record. I wonder how many of these sale items are repackaged returns.

I clicked on the link and Amazon informed me that I had purchased this three times already. Yes, this is how many times it took me to get a half-decent copy. Great album, great mastering by BG, but these pressings are atrocious. Worth trying though for $15.90 and hope for the best.
You guys have me worried now. Are these bad enough to see when inspecting the vinyl or do they just play noisy?
My copies were noisy even after I cleaned them with the Degritter. Visually, the vinyl did not look that good either. Amazon is great with returns, so, for $15.90, which was the price last time I checked, I will definitely take a chance. This is a great blues album.
I bought a Mingus album in the series, and stopped there because of the horror stories. I gave it a listen and it was great without cleaning. Now I will give Otis Spann a try, and hopefully the results will be good.
i see others saying similar things on discogs. unclear exactly where this was pressed, but it was plated at RTI at least. rampant non-fill isn't really something they produce though. bummer.
