the description says remastered and cut by Bernie Grundman in 2023
I think we’re asking about the barcode number of the $59- twofer, thanks
Oh great! Well it was too late anyway so fingers crossed.
My order should be arrive today -- looking forward to it. Never had it on vinyl --- reviews of the pressing seem promising. Hopefully it is indeed the 2023 release.
Celebrating it's 30th anniversary, Tuesday Night Music Club is unveiling a special treat for it's aficionados - a pristine vinyl edition of the acclaimed 7x certified Platinum album, a version that wasn't available back in 1993. This release isn't just a nostalgic nod, but a journey back to authentic sound, providing a fresh way to experience the beloved tunes. The magic touch comes from Bernie Grundman, the original mastering wizard behind the album. Employing the original 1/2" flat master tape, Grundman crafted a new master, and with precise strokes, cut the lacquers.
Gotta love those LPs cut using precise strokes.
Thanks for the reply! I see the same thing ("Carrier picked up the package") when reviewing my order on Amazon, but when I look up my tracking number on USPS, the status is just "label created" and no change since 2/1.
Regarding The Who "Who's Next / Life House [Super Deluxe Edition 10 CD/Blu-ray Audio)" - I think OxfordshireEngland might be sending orders to the U.S. in bulk to an address located in RIDGELY, MD 21660 [smoke free & pet free like any good distribution center]. From there, the tracking number (already) assigned will note your unique delivery address details until your significant other grabs the package from the front porch, grimaces from the weight of this huge set, and begins prepping some unpleasantries about all the music purchased on Amazon (well, that's my story anyway). Hoping to capture it all on Ring Video Doorbell
I ordered my Ryuichi Sakamoto Travesia release yesterday and, luckily, the correct item arrived about an hour ago.
Mine got here today too—correct item. Now I can relax. Lol
Herbie Hancock LP Speak Like A Child $10.98
I'm sorry I don't know... They both came in separate shrinkwrap. And, remember this was used, so however it came originally as two albums, I don't know.
BTW, FWIW since you asked about this set I am right now listening to Battle of Los Angeles, and YES! It also kicks some very SERIOUS @ss! Just as dynamic as the debut, goes very low and deep and sounds frigg'n amazing!
Sorry though that I don't know what you asked. All I can give you is the copyright date and the bar codes.
Wow, tough crowd...
Bought this a couple of weeks ago for the same price, but it went back up before I could post it. This is the Blue Note 75 version in case anyone is wondering.
Got some not good reviews as far as quality
Yeah, I know. My copy sounds decent but far from great. It’s the only Herbie BN album I didn’t have on vinyl so for the price I bit anyway. Figure if there is a better sounding affordable option coming I can always replace it.
Definitely the recent remaster of Sheryl Crow's Tuesday Night Music Club
Thanks to putz for the heads up.
Uh oh... Better not tell your rich girlfriend that you blew $10 of her money on an album that doesn't sound good...
Would imagine it will get done right and released as a Blue Note Classic or Tone Poet eventually, but have no clue if I'll live that long so I'll take a chance and add another Herbie to my vinyl collection.
Yeah I know it isn’t on the Tone Poet schedule for this year so I figured it was worth $10.
This guy gets it
Billy Joel 52nd Street 40th Japanese SACD 7' packaging and whatnot $36.79. The Stranger 40th is a hair under $40 too.
man i don't do cds of any type anymore but these look super cool. tempting.
That "Free Delivery" from Amazon Japan is not something I see regularly. Usually shipping is $15 - $20 for the first item, depending on size and weight.
Don't sleep on the Billy Joel!
