And going to Fall ‘71 two years in a row for the bonus disc show. There’s other years I would have preferred, but I’m not familiar with 11/17 at all so I’m intrigued.

It’s nice to get seemingly two full shows though.

 

Vibe feels different about his Pick for 26. Perhaps Dave had a 68 but it was nixed or chosen for Anthem 50

 

You talk such rubbish. All you are embracing is poor mastering. Some experiments shouldn’t make it out of the lab. This is one them. It’s not in the bones or the blood. It’s in your imagination.

Has anyone ordered any previous series from the UK?

If so, were shipping costs high?

Did you get stung for import charges?

Have to say I'm underwhelmed with this selection and bonus disc, almost the same as last year. Doesn't seem to match Dave's hype, maybe it was that Ramble on Rose encore that got him all worked up.

Wait, hasn't part of this show been released on a Road Trips bonus disc?

Edit: Nope, that was from the Fort Worth show three nights earlier.

Yes I have the last two years plus one year before and so far no customs charges, though the pricing does make it close should Customs take a keener interest.

I'd be thrilled with that. I just subscribed for the first time and that is the day I was born. Also, killer Dark Star that night.

 

I was there! I had moved to Albuquerque in September to attend UNM. I saw a lot of great concerts at the old civic auditorium. It's gone now. It was a cold snowy night if my memory is correct.

 

I was hoping for something from Fall '71. It's not 12/10/71 but it will have to do.

 

I am not thrilled with this announcement. The previous fall 71 release was an OK, fun show, but no more. I don't need an encore of that one. Hopefully it's not.

So we'll get another 78 show in August, then a 73 or 74 in November? I wouldn't be surprised.

Not enthused.

I'm gonna pass on both '71 and '77 shows. Could it be possible that I'm not the Dead fan I used to be?

 

I'm surprised they allow up to five subscriptions per order as that helps to inflate the resale market. I guess they want to make sure they all sell out but that certainly hasn't been an issue.

 

Well, that's a bummer.

 

The shipping cost is $12 for the whole subscription to the UK.

 

Tell us more, if you remember that is

 

I did not think so for the set shipping was a lot less than ordering each individually, even though they are shipped individually

Very odd another Fall 71 show. Looks a bit more exciting than Dave’s 22 (at least a few jams) but then again I sent my copy of that Pick to a friend I met here. Plus why on earth wouldn’t they give us a show with a Dark Star.

What logic to give us 12/14 rather than 12/15?

For those more familiar with this time period, can anyone answer what logic might have been used to make this decision?
