That's all I see as well. For Jerry releases I have it on Very Best of (Disc 2, the live disc), and PJ2 and 8. Has it been released on any other sets?

10-16-81 would be a cool show to release if they had it, but given the background, I wouldn't be surprised at all if they don't.

It's on the JGAB "Almost Acoustic" album, no?

This is correct, although the unspoken assumption is that the conversation is in regards to GD performances.

We have that same thing here in Norway too.

If something that you buy from another country costs more than 35 Euro (actually it is supposed to be up to 20 for the item+ up to 15 for the shipping, but they never enforce that strange rule) you get hit by import taxes and VAT which is a flat fee of 15 Euro to the government as pay for them doing the job (!) and then an additional 25% of the value of the item. It has always been like that so we get used to that. So when I see people complaining in the Dylan and White Album threads about getting the sets for pretty affordable prices but a few days late, I sort of feel that a lot of them do not know how good they actually have it.

Because larger sets that you cannot get in stores here will cost you at least a third because of this and arrive 3-6 weeks late

    Best regards,

    HTRL

I finally had to call dead.net from overseas to sort out my subscription, and they were very helpful. They even asked me what my favorite Dead song is... today it's "Here Comes Sunshine". :)

  11. I have a good feeling for 2019. Starting off with 4/26/77. Sixties are due. 70 and 72 haven’t been tapped too much recently. Bring it on.

You're a better person than I am. I replied "none of your business", because I'm sure that the guy didn't really give a sh#t.

Since we very likely won’t be getting a 73 or 74 show this year after the PNW Box, imagine a 72 is very likely.

Awwwww.......c'mon. If you've ever interacted with the folks in the GD front office who handle these things -- and it's probably 1 or 2 people -- they're really very nice. That's the way people in Charlottesville are. I had to call then years ago over a duplicate/missing Dick's Pick's 8 disc. Felt like I caught the guy in mid-joint. He was very apologetic, sent me a replacement and told me to keep the original, maybe send the duplicate discs as extras in a live show trade. And that started a discussion on favorite GD live shows.

There are worse customer-service stories out there..................

I really hope so. I understand if they're holding out on the remaining Dark Star-->Morning Dew pairings, but I'd be quite thrilled with another '72 Dark Star. Maybe Portland for the Dark Star-->Comes a Time...

Nah. This guy was clearly off-shore. It sounded like he was on the Moon.

(Maybe they contract out for peak periods or something?)

Subscribed again just like I have done since the very beginning.

Can't wait to get 2/26/77 which is one of my favorites of that year.

Hoping for a Keith era Shakedown or an Althea next year also.

I do like Dark Star>Comes A Time, but I don't subscribe so I always hope they save the 'good stuff' for retail releases. Plenty of excellent 'Truckin>Other One' sequences available for Dave's Picks.

    Any '72 predictions for 2019? I'd be stoked with 7/18 or 9/28.

Side note for anyone interested. There is a 'Strangers Stopping Strangers' podcast interviewing Charlie Miller worth checking out. I've listened to so many of his tapes/uploads and always wondered who he was. Of course his editing is held in high regard so was really cool to actually here his story.
