    I received my copy after a lengthy apology from Dr. Rhino, which made me answer "keep up the good work".

    Let's hope Dr. Rhino gets the many Customs' issues sorted very soon for our UK, Aussie, German, Dutch, French & other international friends!

    I think we are overdue a 74 pick. So I’m thinking that or 69

    Would no problem this for 32. Maybe vocal misses during the first part of Set I can be fixed with a good AUD MATRIX?

    Been waiting on this one forever. With 6/22/73, 1/22/78 and 2/26/77 unleashed recently, my list of 'bucket list' releases grows short.

    I have a feeling we’ll finally get it very soon...if not that specifically then maybe 9-23-72 or 10-2-72.

    But. At the end of it all. We are fools of folly. Nothing would make me more proud of my English.
    Said loudly and proudly by a 4th Gen. "Century Farm" Scot in the USA. I have let my proud Stewards down. Oh fiddlesticks and fudge! Lols.

    That said.

    As much as I enjoy ‘69, I’d be elated with a ‘72 pick. I doubt any pick for 32 will have a “Dark Star” so I’d happily trade it for a “Bird Song”, thus 10/2/72 looks enticing. Then again, I’d settle for a hot “Mexicali Blues” so that 9/28/72 also looks enticing. I feel like ‘72 is in the stars for this one.

    I’m still going to follow my gut in that a big 72 show will lead off 2020...they always go for a big classic show to open up the new year and since we recently got the 73/74 Box plus a 77 show to kick off 2019, it seems 72 is overdue.

    For #32 hoping for a 68 show. Or pair of shows since that could likely fit on 3 discs. Hopefully there are a few undiscovered gems from the year like the Lake Tahoe shows in DP #22.

    10/18/72: MAMU, “El Paso”, and “Mexicali Blues”, now we’re talking. Oh, BS and DS too. Sounds too good to be true.

    True, but don't they always telegraph the 2nd pick of the year during some point of the subscription period. Just wondering if they'd make a '72 the 2nd pick of the year for length (or straight sequencing) for bonus disc purposes. Though the no cover song deal with bonus discs means no NFA (9-28-72), so I'm confused about the possibilities with that thrown in the mix.

    No hate from me, but I think the recording quality is fair, and vocals are sometimes mixed too high and harsh. For that reason, I'd prefer shows with better sound quality/mix be chosen for the DaP series. I have all the DaP, and will continue to subscribe.

    I just took in the 12/3/79 Terrapin--> Playin' once again, so some observations:
    • This isn't reach out and grab you GD; it's sit back and let it ooze GD;
    • Jerry has very much to say solo-wise in Terrapin (two spots), but he wants to either state it matter-of-factly or to whisper it, not shout it;
    • The Playin' is juicy. Phil is choppy and thick and Jerry keeps at it with a melodic clarity that's missing from the first set.
    Perhaps not a top-shelf segment in their pantheon but a solid A-, which is better than most band's A game, innit?

    I need to check out the Wharf Rat--> Truckin' soon. Wharf Rat has always struck me as a solid tune that fits a need but doesn't really go anywhere. But I'm not up on '79 Rats.

    How 'bout '77 Rats? You really ought to confer with 7th of May 77. (Don't miss The Wheel that leads into it. The whole sequence from Eyes, really.)

    Includes my favorite version of brokedown palace ever - Jerry’s solo is sublime

    9/27/1972 has my favorite version of he’s gone but fortunately that show has been released⚡️

    The fall '77 Wharf Rats (e.g., 10/14/77) are really good
