Yes, that's the joke. Don't forget to tip your waitress.
I have a waitress? Goddammit, she's doing a lousy job!
It’s your turn to gets yours before I get mine, this round of Picks!
Hopefully mine isn’t too far away. The tracking info is absolutely useless. It’s still showing as USPS awaiting item, dated August 6!
You must not have tipped her.
However, it should be noted that what the Archive offers does run at the proper speed.
So I got my new, undamaged and free replacement copy of Dave's 35 today. I think because I asked marye at dead.net to help me, and then figured out how to help myself, I had two customer service requests in (which became clear to me yesterday when Rhino sent me a second "We're sending you another one" response). So I just replied to the second one and told them not to send another copy. If they do send me another, I'm giving it away. That said, please don't PM me. I have candidates already.
You got a replacement before I even get my, er, placement?!
Rub it in, why don’t ya!
I guess I knew that. Whoops. I'm insensitive. I don't deal with international shipping too much. Except CD Japan once in a while, which takes at least six weeks–two months. That was pre-Covid.
It’s all good, I’m just kidding ya. Carry on
Chill out, man. He got his by the end of summer. I'm sure you will too.
Sweet. Summer ends February 28, 2021 down here, so fingers crossed!
Finally got to my office where I have these discs sent and listened to it today. Sure, Jerry's voice is rough but this was my second Dead show ever and when I started riding "the bus." Brings back some fond memories of the road trip from DC to see the show and catching my favorite combo (Scarlet>Fire).
While I may prefer 1969-70, 72-74, and 77 in my old age, the "kid" in me still enjoys the 80's and early 90's, so I am happy to have those released from time-to-time.
Next release rumors? This year has sucked so hard! Really looking forward to another great release to help ease the pain on my way to and from my (now, thanks to hybrid learning) crappy teaching job.
My pick: New Year’s Eve, 1972...come on Dave!
This year sucking calls for a double dose of ‘72.
I propose both 10/18/72 and Winterland New Years 72 in one pick!
I‘d like to see the full release of Public Auditorium, Cleveland, OH, 06/12/73.
Some of it was on Road Trips Vol. 4 No. 3 Bonus Disc though, so it’s doubtful.
This would be the one bonus disc I'd like to see rendered obsolete.
The whole enchilada would satisfy the masses in justly unprecedented manner.
I did post last year that I was desperately hoping for Jai-Alai Fronton, Miami, FL, 23/06/74 so hopefully Dave sees my post above!
I randomly quoted Phil from Boise 1983 in the grateful thread one time and jokingly said I wanted an official release of the show just for the announcement. Dave’s 27 was announced a month or so later. Kind of freaked me out
Got any good Ark jokes?
Don’t I wish
Or Fox jokes...?
