Which turns this into a quantity vs. quality "argument," which is something that we probably shouldn't do. Let's just say that the official GoGD releases are prodigious and leave it at that. My take, anyway.
. This, and while the music is boring to tears, I seem to recall part of their schtick one year was jumping up and down on trampolines while vacuuming and noodling away . . . or some such shenanigans, so that snapped me out of my boredom!
I now own more CDs by The Dead than any other artists. That would be an interesting thread”How much have you spent on Grateful Dead music”! Or “how many Grateful Dead CDs,vinyl do you have in your collection”!
The Rasta Turtles have danced their way to Orlando this morning. With any luck I should have my set within a day or two.
Nobody likes a schtick. Music is serious business. Imagine if your favourite band came out on stage dressed as clowns -- what shenanigans! Thank god the Dead weren't into inside jokes and such things with their audiences.
At this rate 6/30/74 won’t be released until #49. Holding out for that one and first set from 12/30/77. Could name a few more
That is like those old bootlegs. They tack on a few songs from another year. My Dave’s will likely be delayed by all of the snow. That’s okay I can wait a little longer. At least they are not surprising us with another band added as bonus material!
It's something they do every time they play You Enjoy Myself, during the section where the keys and drums are playing a duet, so the guitarist and bassist jump on a trampoline while they wait to come back in.
