Maybe up by Rio Nido when they played there Labor Day weekend. There's a story about them setting up on a hill above the Russian River (same stream Joe Garcia drowned in) and practicing for hours on end- perhaps this captures that event?

I recall sitting on those steps at some point in the mid-1980s. I take it there is probably a gate or something up there now.

This could be a band now. Doesn’t look dated.

 

Jerry's haircut is the weirdest thing though. What is that?
One of the guys from Greensky Bluegrass looks like Pigpen's brother.

 

Some of the gear is dated, unless we're talking a "retro" band.

 

Whoever owns that place now must have had to deal with people coming up those stairs and knocking on the door. I recall in that Weir documentary he actually goes in the place and walks around.

 

The best kind of band, IMO.

 

So true! Dave Bruzza is not simply a great guitar player, he’s a real nice guy and good human.
