I made friends due to that artwork!

I was in fifth grade when "CE3K" hit and I bought the novelization.

2 kids in my class made their own little "magazine", and they wanted a cover story about the movie.

Because I had the book, I said I could draw a copy of the art - which was the same as this poster - for the cover.

The other 2 kids and I became friends - one that lasted for decades!

Fantastic artwork, but it kinda gives away the ending.

I've got this one on my wall as I'm a bit of a Maggie Cheung fan. This picture really doesn't do the colour justice though.

Despite being broke, this had to come home today. It's only a re-issue for the 2012 Criterion, but it's a French printing, a MASSIVE, heavy card stock four-sheet poster. WOW! Fifty bucks at the thrift store and it was mine. Only a promo poster for the digital re-release of the film, but I'm certain it's rare as hell to find one of these, and being a French pressing is very cool. I'm tickled pink because this has long been a DREAM poster of MINE. Can't imagine the price of an original. And I don't think anyone has done a full size reprint before. Certainly not a 4-sheet!!

Always loved the old Star Wars and Indiana Jones posters.

Also loved this one which was mysterious since it was out before the movie had been released and my friend and I all thought the next Star Wars was going to badass. If we only knew the garbage fire that it was going to be... :hurl:

Alphaville is a great one. Original French Grande is the best part of $1K.

I spied this one yesterday, too. And like a fool I waited until this morning to panic by it before it disappeared. It is mine.!

    My shining diamond! (Ala
aBaz Lurman) And original 1982 Italian “tenebre ” daybill. I love it.! Although this horror film is made by, in my opinion, one of the worst directors in cinematic history, Dario Argento. LOL. And starring that ubiquitous be actor John Saxon. LOL. But look at that image. Extremely striking. Very detailed list though. It reminds me a lot and makes me wonder if the person who made the poster for DOA the 80s punk documentary didn’t steal this image.Very fine condition except for slight edge where to the black. What money a horror film or cough up for this one I am curious to find out. For me $50 again well spent

I had to break out my other 4-sheet. My orig. 2001 poster. Now all I need is a room to hang them in! Sci Fi nerd heaven!

(I cant believe no one commented on the pillows. Those are original David Hicks pillows, the design used for the Overlook.

That's fan art - there was never a real poster for that movie because the movie never went into production.

It makes fun of the elements Kevin Smith says the studio wanted to force on him: the spider, the bears, etc.
